This roll-up blind is made of a brown bamboo slat that is woven with a mix of matchsticks. While it filters partial sunlight, it does not function as a blackout shade. When used outdoors, it should be hung in a well-ventilated area to allow the blind to dry completely after rain. To avoid mildew, the bamboo blind should be removed from outdoor or porch settings when nighttime humidity is high, as it is composed of natural, untreated bamboo. If used in high-humidity environments, the application of a spray-on fungicide is recommended.
For the safety of children and pets, the child safety cord cleats must be installed at least 6 feet (72 inches) above the floor level. At no time should the cord be left hanging.
The blind features a flat, brown bamboo slat with a roll-up design made of brown matchstick bamboo. It effectively blocks sunlight and helps cool the room, but does not function as a privacy screen.
The actual dimensions of the blind are 213 cm wide by 183 cm long (84W x 72L inches). It can be installed either as an inside mount or an outside mount on window frames, with the provided screw hooks.
The included hardware consists of 2 screw hooks and 1 blind cord safety cleat.
